Kodif Package Protection allows customers to add protection to their orders directly during checkout. By adding the upsell block to your Shopify Checkout, customers can easily opt in to package protection before completing their purchase.

This guide walks you through adding and configuring the Shipped Package Protection block in your Shopify Checkout Editor.

  3. Review the checkout preview to confirm the block appears in the desired position.

We recommend placing the package protection offer in a visible location where customers can review it before completing their purchase.

We recommend testing the checkout experience to ensure package protection is displayed correctly.

  1. Open your storefront and add a product to your cart.

  2. Proceed to checkout.

  3. Confirm the Shipped Package Protection offer appears in the expected location.

  4. Verify that customers can interact with the Add protection button.

What Customers Will See

Once configured, the package protection block displays an offer during checkout that includes:

  • A Package Protection heading.

  • A description of the protection benefits, including coverage for lost, damaged, or stolen packages.

  • An Add protection button that allows customers to select coverage.

  • Additional information about the protection offering.

This gives customers the opportunity to add package protection before placing their orders.
